wort stands for Writings On aRT. and that's literal; it's not writings about art or related to art. but handwritten words on top of images. the aim of the wort project is to get a handwritten interpretation of a visual image side by side.
i will be giving images to various people (not just writers, but people that i think will provide an interesting commentary or interpretation) and then posting them on this blog as they are completed (or maybe in progress).
i haven't fully worked out the format - whether the images will be black and white or color, ect.- but i hope to figure those things out along the way.
